Caption- An explanation/description of the photo as it appears in the montage.
Collage- A grouping of photos and other materials arranged in a slide show to tell a story. A thematic presentation of
information.
Dedication Page- A page with text dedicating the video to someone special.
Digital Scrapbook- A collection of photos and other memorabilia, enhanced with special effects and transitions, transferred to
a digital format able to be viewed on a television or computer and most other digital devices.
DVD- A digital video device. The format of your finished product, able to be played on most DVD devices and computers.
Gift Video- A movie or presentation containing sentimental and meaningful materials given to, or in honor of, the recipient.
Heirloom- Something of great meaning given to or received from family members, generation after generation. The item will
continue to hold meaning until the end of time.
Interactive DVD Menu- A menu of options and choices available at anytime during the length of your movie/video. A menu
will take you to and from specific places of your choice in the video. A menu will help you locate specific chapters in your video.
Life Tribute- A video made to honor the life, milestones or memory of a special person. Celebrates the life and achievements
of someone special.
Memorial Page- see tribute page.
Message / Tribute Page- A single page, either at the beginning or end of the video, containing a poem, Bible verse, saying or
message of thanks. Usually goes along with the theme, intent or purpose of the video.
Montage- A grouping of a collection of pictures and other special materials arranged in a video or movie. Usually set to
appropriately suited or significant music.
Overlay- A title or caption placed directly on, or scrolling through a single photo.
Pay Pal- An Internet service that acts as a neutral third party accepting payment for services on behalf of the service
providers. There is a guarantee of services provision that protects both buyers and sellers. Your personal and financial
information is secure through this site- the seller or service provider never knows your financial information. Pay Pal is able to
accept credit cards, debit cards and electronic checks.
Photo Collage- see collage.
Photo Re-touch- Memories in Motion will touch up, correct flaws, remove red-eye, and enhance most photos during the
scanning and editing phase of your project. These photos are available on an archival CD.
Photo Title- A phrase or description located directly on the photo, or can be placed on a septate screen clip in prior to a
significant photo or item.
scanable Material- Can be any flat item. Usually: scrapbook pages, ticket stubs, programs, announcements, news clippings,
notes, yearbook pages, children's art pages, scraps of paper, etc.
Slide Show- A collection of photos and materials converted to a digital format and shown one after the other. Music and
special effects can be added to enhance the overall feeling and emotional impact for the viewer.

Thank You / Tribute Page- A page with text stating a message of thanks or gratitude to someone special.
Title Page- A page containing the title or intent of the video. This page will introduce or explain your video.
Video Segment- is a single running section of tape without stopping, cuing, or changing the videotape. Thus, an additional
video clip from the original source tape, or adding video from another tape, would be a new video segment.
