Q: What can I put in a Photo Montage DVD?
A: Any combination of pictures, slides, and photo negatives can be used along with any other types of paper
media that can be digitized with our scanners. This would include items such as announcements, newspaper
articles, brochures, fliers, ticket stubs, cards and letters, licenses, scrapbook pages, children's art pages or just
about anything you can imagine. These images can all have captions of your choosing.
Q: Can any size photo be used for a project?
A: Any size photo or item up to an 8x10 can be scanned for use in your video.
Q: My pictures and videos are one of a kind, precious and irreplaceable, how do I know
they will be safe?
A: The first step is to ship your items with a reputable delivery service such as UPS or Fed Ex that offers
insurance. Once your items arrive at our studio, we have established procedures in place for their careful
handling. We also insure your items when we ship them back to you.

Q: Will my photos be returned to me in the same condition?
Absolutely!!
Q: What quality can I expect? Will there be any loss of color or sharpness?
A: Your photos will be digitally scanned and captured at the optimum resolution. We will do basic color
enhancements, tone corrections, and red-eye reduction on old photos or photos that have obvious discoloration
at no additional charge to you.
Q: Can I submit digital images to you from a CD or as an email attachment for inclusion in my project?
A: Yes! Your digital images can also be included in your Motion Picture or on a Digital Photo Album.
We prefer that your digital images be sent to us as high-resolution files. We ask that if you send them by email
you limit the attachments to 3-5 per email and contact us in advance of sending them. You can send as many
email's as are needed to send all of your digital photos.
Q: Can I choose my own music for my project?
A: Yes! We know that particular songs are strongly attached to certain memories and only you know what songs
will be perfect for your project. We prefer that you choose your own songs because that is a large part of what
will make your project a treasured keepsake. If you have no preference, we have nice suggestions to fit many
occasions and themes.
Q: Do I need to worry about copy written music?
A: While most music has a copyright, fair use laws allow you to use music you have legally purchased for
personal use. For most song choices we can buy a digital copy online for you. The cost is included in the
package price.
Q: Will the DVD play from both my PC DVD drive and my television's DVD player?
A: Absolutely! It is safe to say that if you are able to play any DVD made after 1997 on your DVD player or
computer, you will be able to play the discs we create for you. We use top quality DVD-R media for all of our
services.
Q: Can you place my VHS and 8 mm tapes onto a DVD?
A: YES!! We can transfer most media forms onto DVD. Also, we can edit, add music, remove spots, change
spots, remove ex-spouses, etc. :) We can use sections of your home videos in a montage.
Q: Can I order additional copies of the production in the future?
A: Yes! We keep a copy of each and every photo montage project we produce for six (6) months. We will send
you a reminder near the end of your six month term to see if you want to add to your project at that time, or if
you might like an additional copy.
Q: Can I add to a DVD Movie at a later time?
A: Yes! Most projects become better as time goes by. Add photos and Memories year after year. Memories in
Motion keeps a master copy of your project that can be added to over and over again!
Q: How long will it take you to complete my project?
A: Normally, we try to complete a project within 1-2 weeks. However, various factors such as complexity of the
project and condition of the photographs can affect turnaround time. Once we receive the materials and a
deposit payment for your project, we will give you an estimated time that you can expect your project to be
completed. If you have a project that is time sensitive, we will work with you to accommodate your schedule.
